Christmas Lunch 2009

.

Our venue this year was Ye Olde Plough House at Bulphan just eight miles from Upminster so our journey time was nice and short but, by the level of conversation, not too many people were looking at the view even though the weather was perfect with bright sunshine.  On arrival we rapidly found both the cloakroom and the bar for a pre-lunch drink and ordered our drink for the table from a dedicated table in the dining room.  Once seated for lunch we were entertained by a ‘Table Magician’ who moved from table to table baffling us all with his skill.  He was remarkable and I heard of no one who knew how he did any of his tricks!  The photographs  in the Handbook speak for themselves and convey the atmosphere in the Elizabethan barn far better than I can convey in words.

Why not join us this year and kick off the Christmas season in style!
